BH4BP #13 – A Look Into the World of Tea
Podcast: Play in new window | Download (Duration: 16:42 — 11.5MB)
This show sponsored by: New Mexico Tea Company
This show is dedicated to the wonderful world of tea. After water, tea is the most widely consumed beverage around the world. In this show, I discuss in great depth the four main “true” teas: White tea, Green tea, Oolong tea and Black tea. They are called true teas because they are all harvested from the same tea plant, Camilla Sinensis whereas other teas aren’t.
I go over where these teas are mainly produced, how they are processed, what they taste like, some of their varieties and how to make a perfect cup of that tea. I also lightly touch on how herbal teas differ from true teas. Some references that I used were Wikipedia, about.com and oolongtea.org.

I must start drinking more tea and less coffee. Lots of good information. Surprised how much there is to know about tea! Nice podcast. Thanks!
GREAT audio post!! I love it!!
Another reason to love tea. I drink it all day – English breakfast in the morning, green tea during the day, peppermint tea after dinner.
Great information on tea! And a great job at packing a lot of information into a quick podcast.
I think your passion for tea also comes through very well, which I appreciate.
Loved the podcast! Nowadays, I’m trying to drink more tea , but coffee is still king in the mornings. Hopefully, I can soon say, “I had tea with my breakfast.” Thanks, Talli!
Talli, my fellow tea queen!
Great post and how wonderful a world this is with so many varieties of teas in it!
I love them all but my favourite is still chai, with cinnamon and spice and all things nice!
