BH4BP #19 – Healthy Food: It’s Whats for Dinner!

First off, I’d like to thank everyone for voting for me in the Podcast Awards.  It was an honor being nominated as a finalist.  I didn’t win, but there is always next year! Your votes were greatly appreciated!

Next, I jump right into the show.  On last week’s show, I talked about ways that you could eat a healthy lunch,  despite your busy schedule.  This week I concentrate on preparing healthy dinners.  Dinner tends to be the biggest and most important meal of the day for many people.  That is why it is so important to eat a healthy meal that is not full of sodium, fat and cholesterol.  In this show, I help you find ways to prepare a healthy dinner.  I discuss ways you can reduce your intake of sodium, sugar and fat while increasing your intake of vitamins, minerals and fiber.

    You mean deep frying vegetables doesn’t make them healthy anymore? What about battering them first? Wouldn’t that lock in all of the nutrients? OK, just kidding. Great show! Very informative. And some broccoli sounds pretty good right now, actually.

  3. Hey, congratulations!

    Great show. I do most of those things now and rarely eat red meat. My problem is that I am really addicted to sugar and it kills me. I was diagnosed with a form of adrenal fatigue and I have to watch what I eat because mistakes mean that I’m exhausted for days.

    I’ll check out your other shows as well.
