BH4BP #29 – Running: The Gold Standard of Exercise

Today I would like to talk about a subject that is dear to my heart.  That’s right, running.  Both my dad and mom were runners.  They got me started competing in track when I was in elementary school and I have been running ever since.

Running is really the gold standard of exercise. It is considered one of the best aerobic sports out there. Every other aerobic fitness program is measured against it.

In this show, I discuss the health benefits of running, how to get started running, proper running form and tips to prevent injury.

    Informative stuff. I don’t think I’m ready for running. I take walks all the time, but I’ve got to lose some more weight first.

    Cool podcast, Talli! I just started running, so far, I’m loving it. Both my parents and all my siblings are runners, it was just time for me, too. Great information!!!
