Have you ever noticed that after eating fast food, such as a cheap hamburger, fries and a soda, that you feel sluggish and tired afterwards? And maybe even unhappy or unmotivated as well? And have you ever noticed that after eating a healthy, nutritious meal you feel energetic, alert and ready to take on the world?
That’s because what you eat affects your body chemistry, which can make you feel good and alert or it can make you feel lethargic, unhappy or even mildly depressed. Since food plays a crucial role in shaping our moods, in this show I talk about how food affects our mood and what foods are associated with certain moods.
